Transmitter

Continental 315-B 5000 Watts Transmitter

CE-LogoAccording to FCC documents. WQAM used a Continental 315-B 5000 transmitter operating at 5000 Watts daytime and 1000 Watts nighttime. A flick of a switch made the changeover and was easily heard on the air when listening at dusk and dawn.
